Marcus Burks remains a defensive back to watch at Alcorn State
Marcus Burks is listed with Alcorn State’s football program, but the available public data here doesn’t show a current stat line for the 2026 season, so the appeal is more about projection than production. In the 2025 season, Alcorn State’s defensive backfield had multiple contributors, and Burks profiles as the kind of DB coaches value for toughness, leverage, and reliability in coverage. If you need a defender who can compete physically, fit into a disciplined secondary, and bring versatility on the back end, he looks like a sensible evaluation target rather than a flashy stat-sheet wager.
