Ricky Williams is an all-time **Texas Tech legend**, but he is **not a current Red Raiders RB**
Ricky Williams is a retired former NFL running back, not an active Texas Tech player, so he is not a current team fit in 2026; his profile is defined by elite career production, including 10,009 rushing yards in the NFL, and a physical, feature-back style that made him a rare high-volume runner.[1][2] If you meant a different Ricky Williams on Texas Tech’s roster, send the full name or class year and I’ll give you a current scouting-style read.
