Sam Houston OL Will Smith: Rising FCS Powerhouse with NFL Pedigree
Will Smith, the explosive Sam Houston Bearkats offensive lineman, dominates as a 6'5", 305-lb road-grader out of Klein Cain HS (TX), anchoring the line with elite run-blocking tenacity and pass-pro footwork that recalls his Ohio State namesake's intensity. In 2025, he's been pivotal in the Bearkats' top-15 FCS rushing attack (198.4 ypg), earning All-SLC honorable mention nods for his mean streak and zero sacks allowed in 400+ pass snaps. Coaches rave about his film-room IQ and leadership; a Day 2 NFL draft riser who's scheme-versatile and injury-free—perfect fit for power-run or zone teams hunting a tone-setter.
