Idaho State’s Redshirted QB with Elite Arizona High School Pedigree and Deep-Ball Precision
Wyatt Horton, Idaho State’s 2026 redshirt quarterback, didn’t play in 2025 but brings a proven high school track record: as a 2022 sophomore at Pinnacle (AZ), he completed 65% of passes for 2,860 yards and 31 TDs in 14 games [8]. Ranked QB96 nationally (85 overall) by 247Sports, Horton differentiates with elite deep-ball accuracy—recently connecting on a touchdown pass to Adam Watts in Idaho State’s first 2025 game [9]. His intensity and calm under pressure, noted by fans cheering his debut [10], make him a high-upside fit for teams needing a poised, big-play QB with room to develop. No injury history reported; redshirt status preserves eligibility while he sharpens skills.
