Bobby Atkinson brings legit middle-of-the-order juice for Missouri State
In the 2026 season, Bobby Atkinson has been a productive left-handed bat for Missouri State, hitting .287 with 6 home runs and 21 RBI, while also showing enough athleticism to chip in on the bases and handle 1B/OF. He was also a second-team All-MVC selection and MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year at Bradley in 2025, which signals both impact and maturity. The upside is clear: power, bat-to-ball skill, and experience. The caution flag is that early-season reports noted some swing-and-miss, so he looks best as a fit for a team that values proven left-handed offense and steady veteran presence.
