Transfer CB Who Delivered INTs and Tackles for Wisconsin in 2022
Jay Shaw, a gritty 5-11 graduate transfer from UCLA to Wisconsin, flashed serious ball skills in the 2022 season with 31 tackles, 2 INTs, and 6 PBUs across 13 games (12 starts)—career highs that tied him for team INT leads earlier at UCLA in 2021. A 3-star HS standout from Centennial with 5 picks and 64 tackles in 2016-17, Shaw's tenacity, quickness (4.73 forty), and development focus make him a reliable slot/zone corner who thrives in big games. Perfect fit for teams needing veteran instincts over size—no major injury flags.
