Treylan Smith brings veteran wing size and shot-making to MVSU

Treylan Smith is a seasoned 6-foot-5 guard/wing who gives Mississippi Valley State a versatile scoring option, with earlier college stops showing he can produce around the perimeter and hold his own on the glass. In the 2024-25 season at Mobile, he averaged 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 48.3% from the field, and his Mississippi Valley State history includes a 2020-21 stretch of 8.1 points per game with one of the team’s better three-point profiles. The appeal is simple: size, experience, and a proven ability to slot into multiple roles without needing the ball to be the whole show.
