Experienced Salukis linebacker with a proven SID-ready name in SIU history
Eric Egan is listed in Southern Illinois football’s record book as a Salukis linebacker, but the available public material does not provide current-season production, so the best read is that he’s a name tied to the program’s linebacker lineage rather than a clearly documented current stat leader.[2] For team fit, that means he profiles more as a depth-or-development evaluation than a polished, numbers-driven breakout candidate based on the sources available. If you need a player with clearly verified recent production, the public record here is thin; if you value a prospect whose identity is rooted in a hard-nosed defensive tradition, Egan is at least a legitimate Saluki-labeled defender to keep on the radar.[2]
