Cierra Yamamoto brings versatile bat and clutch-on-base value for Hawai'i
Yamamoto is a left-handed, multi-position option for Hawai'i who has shown a knack for creating offense beyond pure batting average, drawing walks, scoring runs, and delivering timely extra-base hits in the 2025-26 stretch. In 2025, she hit .210 with 17 hits, 7 RBI, and a .301 on-base percentage, and in 2026 she continued to flash production in key moments, including a 2-for-3, 2-run game with a 3-RBI double against Cal Poly. Her profile fits a team that values flexibility, plate discipline, and a competitive, situational hitter rather than just empty power.
