Kyle Mager brings middle-infield power and run production for SIU
Mager has been a productive right-handed infielder for Southern Illinois in the 2026 season, posting a .319 average with 2 home runs and 17 RBI, and he has shown standout game impact with a 5-RBI outing on April 19, 2026.[1][5] His measurable tools point to a compact, athletic profile for the position—107.3 mph exit velocity, 6.83 speed in the 60, and an 82 mph infield velocity—which suggests real bat strength and enough mobility to stay on the dirt.[2] If you want an INF who can drive the ball and handle the position with confidence, he looks like a fit.[1][2]
