Troy’s linebacker name to track, but current public impact data is thin
John Birmingham appears on Troy’s football roster, but the publicly available team pages currently surface him inconsistently at LB/RB and do not provide enough 2026 game production to confidently grade his current performance. Because of that, the real differentiator is less a stat line and more projection: if he’s in the linebacker mix, the value question is whether he can bring downhill physicality, assignment discipline, and special-teams pop in a Troy defense that traditionally rewards tough, dependable defenders.
