Derek Jones brings Davidson a dependable, academically grounded tight end profile
Derek Jones projects as a reliable Davidson tight end who has already shown he can contribute in multiple ways, including as a receiver and occasional runner, while earning PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2017. His value is less about flashy volume and more about versatility, intelligence, and steadiness—traits that matter in a system-friendly TE who can block, move the chains, and handle assignment football. If you want a polished, culture-fit tight end with proven commitment and a team-first reputation, Jones is the kind of player who can quietly raise the floor of an offense.[4][3]
