Columbia Lions DB with Tackling Prowess and All-Purpose Versatility
Matt Bocci earned Defensive Back of the Year honors at Columbia, posting 80 tackles, 1 INT, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 recoveries on defense while adding 1,445 all-purpose yards—showcasing his relentless intensity, physicality in run support, and special teams reliability despite a season-ending injury in 2010. A gritty competitor from Sacred Heart Prep, his multi-phase impact and ball skills make him a differentiator for teams needing versatile, high-motor DBs who elevate defenses beyond the stat sheet.
