Experienced North Texas run-stopper with academic grit
Ryan Boutwell has been a steady, veteran presence on the North Texas defensive front, with the program listing him at 6-3, 248 and noting he started all 13 games in a season where he recorded 20 tackles[1]. His game profile points to reliability, toughness, and a high football-IQ style that fits a disruptive interior role, and his long-term value is boosted by his academic and leadership track record at North Texas[1][13]. He looks like the kind of blue-collar DT who helps you win the snap before the stat sheet fully notices.
