Alabama A&M DB Devonte Simon: Physical, Playmaking Secondary Piece with Proven Big-Game Juice
Devonte Simon has shown real defensive-playmaker traits for Alabama A&M, including a standout 2016 game against Auburn where he was credited with a game-high 15 tackles before leaving with a shoulder injury. Earlier in his career, he also flashed ball skills with an interception return against Texas Southern in 2015. The through line: he plays with energy, attacks downhill, and brings secondary toughness that coaches love. The main question for any team is durability and current form, but the résumé says he can impact a defense when healthy.
