Zane Kelly brings line-drive pop, versatility, and a late-season spark for SDSU
Zane Kelly has evolved into a steady left-handed bat for San Diego State, and in the 2025 season he hit .285 with 16 doubles, 23 RBIs, 36 runs, and 5 steals while locking down the regular right-field job[1][2]. He also showed a higher ceiling in the 2024 season, batting .353 in limited action and earning Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors twice[2][7]. The separator here is the combo: gap power, athletic outfield play, and enough competitive juice to catch fire in big spots—he even earned MW Player of the Week recognition in 2026 after a monster series[5]. If your team wants a contact-minded corner outfielder who can be productive without needing the spotlight, Kelly is very much your guy[1][2][5].
