Cade Zalewski brings senior infield power surge for Eastern Illinois
Cade Zalewski has shown real game-changing pop for Eastern Illinois in the 2026 season, including a four-RBI, home-run performance in a win over Dayton, and he has provided the kind of middle-order damage that can swing a lineup when he’s locked in.[1][6] At 6'3" and 210 pounds, the right-handed infielder has a pro-style frame and enough strength to project as a physical bat-first fit, though his current stat line suggests production has been uneven rather than consistently dominant.[2][3][6]
