Dwayne Pickett Jr. brings special-teams toughness and defensive depth to Jackson State
Pickett is a safety/DB who has been part of Jackson State’s roster since Spring 2021, with the program noting that he primarily played special teams and has no published college statistics listed on the team page[5][6]. That profile suggests a dependable depth piece more than a headline-grabber: valuable for assignment discipline, effort, and game-day versatility, especially if you need a player who can contribute in multiple phases without demanding the ball[5][6].
