promising Spartans CB, but 2026 stat trail is still thin
David Sullivan is listed as a San Jose State cornerback, but there’s very little public 2026 production to judge from yet, so the headline is mostly about projection rather than résumé. The appeal is upside: a true defensive back body type with room to grow into a coverage specialist, and the Spartans’ early 2026 team profile suggests a defense that will need steady, assignment-sound play on the back end. If you want a CB who can be developed into a dependable depth piece, Sullivan is a watch-list name; if you need an instantly proven ballhawk, the evidence isn’t there yet.
