Parker Jones brings live-arm upside, but the results have been bumpy in 2026
In the 2026 season, Davidson RHP Parker Jones has flashed strikeout ability and workable stuff, but his results have been inconsistent, including a 7.71 ERA and 9 strikeouts in 23.1 innings, with a rough outing against Winthrop in which he allowed 3 earned runs in 2.0 innings. Davidson lists him as a 6-foot-1, 185-pound sophomore with a right/right profile, and his background includes a strong high-school bat at Leesville Road, hinting at athleticism and competitiveness. If you need a pitch-to-contact stabilizer, he’s not that yet; if you’re betting on development and arm talent, there’s something here.
