URI's Steady Senior Long Snapper with Proven Tackling Pedigree
Senior Clay Crume (6-2, 236) anchors Rhode Island Rams' special teams as long snapper and linebacker, bringing high school dominance—89 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 forced fumbles as a senior at Clear Creek HS—to CAA play. Reliable in critical snaps, his physicality and Texas grit shine in a 2014 URI squad pushing for upsets like last year's 12-10 thriller over Richmond. No reported injuries; intense, versatile defender who's a low-risk, high-reward fit for special teams-needy programs seeking consistency and hidden edge.
