proven JMU edge disruptor with a history of backfield production
Cornell Urquhart brings **proven pass-rush and run-disruption value** to James Madison, with career totals of **88 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks** in JMU’s record-backed defensive era[5]. He was also a **CAA Defensive Player of the Week** in a statement win over Morehead State, showing he can flash in meaningful moments[2]. Listed by 247Sports as a **6-4, 240-pound** strong-side defensive end, his profile fits a physical, high-motor DL role that can create pressure without needing gaudy volume stats[3].
