Joseph Holbrook brings veteran tight end reliability to Norfolk State
Holbrook profiles as a steady, experienced TE who already showed he can be a useful chain-mover at Norfolk State; in the 2009 season, he caught 14 passes for 136 yards and earned second-team All-MEAC honors, while in 2008 he posted 18 catches for 219 yards and a score. He doesn’t leap off the page as a flashy stat monster, but the value is in trust, route savvy, and dependable hands — the kind of tight end coaches love when they want a tough, assignment-sound player who can block, survive contact, and keep the offense on schedule.
