Ball State safety Chris Allen: steady, experienced, and around the ball
Chris Allen is a senior **strong safety** for Ball State who brings proven experience and production, including **40 solo tackles**, **2 forced fumbles**, and **1 interception** on his ESPN stat line; Ball State also notes he played in all 12 games and had a career-high five tackles against EMU. He looks like a reliable, physical back-end defender rather than a flashy stat-sheet stuffer, which matters if you want consistency, tackling, and veteran steadiness in coverage and run support.
