Kyla Brogan is a freshman arm with a strikeout résumé and early college poise
In the 2026 season, Maine freshman pitcher Kyla Brogan has already shown real upside: she appeared in 12 games, earned her first collegiate win in her first start, and reached a season-high four strikeouts against Stonehill. Brogan brings a high-strikeout background from Suffield Academy, where she logged 159 strikeouts in 97.5 innings while holding opponents to a .161 average in 2024, plus leadership and academic distinction. She looks like a competitive, workmanlike pitcher with a bit of upside, especially for a team that values strike-throwing, toughness, and growth potential.
