Troy's Steals Maestro with Pro Grit
Nelson Phillips electrified Troy Trojans in 2022-23, tying an NCAA single-game steals record with 13 while averaging 8.1 PTS, 4.1 REB, and 1.1 AST on 45.8% FG across 33 games (17 starts); a resilient 6-4 guard who bounced back from a major injury, his elite defensive intensity, quick hands (35 steals in 2021-22 at Georgia State), and scoring versatility make him a disruptive two-way force. Now thriving professionally with Alliance Sport Alsace in France, Phillips is a high-motor leader perfect for teams needing lockdown perimeter D and hustle.
