a veteran Razorbacks center with Rimington-level pedigree
In the 2003 season, Dan Doughty was an Arkansas starter at center and earned preseason Rimington Award watch-list attention, a strong indicator of line-call intelligence and national respect at the position. He brings value as a steady, experienced anchor in the middle rather than as a flashy stat-sheet player, with published notes highlighting his durability, multiple career starts, and physical run-game work. If you want a center who can keep the offense organized and stay calm in the trenches, he fits the mold.
