Xava Grooms brings size, frontcourt activity, and defensive edge to Cal State Fullerton
Grooms is a 6-foot forward whose value comes from work rate, physicality, and versatility in the frontcourt, with early profile notes highlighting rebounding, rim protection, and activity on both ends. She was described in high school as a steady double-digit scorer who also piled up boards, steals, and blocks, suggesting a disruptive, hustle-heavy style rather than a high-usage offense-first role. For a team, that usually means a player who can fit as an energy piece, defend multiple spots, and raise the intensity level quickly.
