Once a SoCon Freshman QB, now a Furman name with limited recent public stat trail
Josh Stepp’s clearest verified profile is as a former Furman quarterback who earned Southern Conference Freshman of the Week honors in 2003 after completing 10 of 14 passes for 109 yards, a touchdown, and a 21-yard rushing score, which points to a dual-threat style and poise in game action. Publicly available recent reporting in the search results does not provide current-season performance data for a 2026 Furman QB named Josh Stepp, so his present fit can’t be judged from stats alone; the main takeaway is that his name is tied to efficient, playmaking QB production and a track record of making the most of opportunities.[2]
