Kyle Daugherty brings walk-on grit and depth to Marist at quarterback
Daugherty is a low-profile but steady Marist quarterback whose value is more about roster fit and practice depth than headline stats; ESPN lists him as a Marist QB with limited college production, and Marist’s roster history shows he joined the program as a walk-on. That background suggests a player with toughness, buy-in, and familiarity with the system, which matters if you need a dependable, team-first QB presence rather than a high-usage playmaker. He looks like a culture add who can stabilize the room and compete without ego.
