Kyle Petty is a depth-linebacker profile, not a headline-grabber
In Northwestern’s records, Kyle Petty is listed at 6-0, 210 pounds as a linebacker, and his NU career stat line shows just 2 tackles across 13 career games, so the data points to a reserve/special-teams role rather than an every-down defender[1]. For a team fit, that means you’d be looking at a compact, experienced depth piece with size and familiarity more than a proven production engine—useful if you want toughness, but not someone whose tape screams instant impact[1].
