Tiya Misir brings steady guard play and playmaking pop to LIU
Tiya Misir is best known as a smart, pass-first guard who can also space the floor; in LIU’s 2018-19 season, she averaged 3.0 points and 2.2 assists per game, ranked second on the team with 48 assists, and shot 45.5% from three. Her value goes beyond the box score: she earned 16 starts, repeatedly steadied the offense, and flashed enough shooting to keep defenses honest. If you need a poised, low-drama connector who can run an offense and chip in timely scoring, she’s a credible fit.
