LaToya Bond was a scoring-and-distribution engine for Missouri
In the 2005-06 season, Missouri guard LaToya Bond was the Tigers’ leading scorer at 17.3 points per game and also brought playmaking, defense, and big-moment shot-making to the table; she added all-conference recognition, All-Big 12 Defensive Team honors, and a reputation for posting 20-point nights with serious efficiency. She was also one of Missouri’s best all-around guards, with enough feel to flirt with triple-doubles and enough toughness to be named an All-America finalist—exactly the kind of competitive, two-way backcourt leader a coach wants.
