VMI’s compact, physical back with upside beyond the box score
Andrew Walton is listed for VMI as a running back and stands out as a sturdy, physical presence rather than a pure speed merchant, with a build that fits a downhill, contact-seeking role. Reliable public stats on his 2026 production were not available in the material gathered, but his profile suggests a useful fit for a team that values toughness, versatility, and short-yardage grit over flash. If you want an RB who can embrace dirty work and bring a lunch-pail edge, Walton’s your guy.
