Siena’s undersized guard with walk-on grit and big-team discipline
Steven Cruz is a **high-effort, team-first guard** whose value is less about volume stats and more about toughness, reliability, and understanding his role; ESPN lists him at Siena, and Siena’s own profile describes him as a walk-on whose impact comes from energy and perseverance rather than flash. In Siena’s system, he profiles as the kind of player who can stabilize practices and locker-room culture, but his small statistical footprint means he is more of a culture fit than a production driver.
