Veteran scoring guard with proven JUCO production
Algie Key is best known as a polished, experienced guard who arrived at Alabama after earning two-time Junior College All-American honors at Barton Community College, where he averaged 17.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in his final season. His calling card is efficient scoring from the perimeter with enough rebounding and toughness to help in a physical SEC environment, which makes him appealing if you want older, production-tested backcourt help rather than a pure upside project. The main fit question is whether his game translates to high-major pace and athleticism, but the resume says he brings competitiveness, maturity, and reliable shot-making.
