seasoned FAU interior force with proven disruption upside
Jarvis Givens is a redshirt senior defensive tackle for Florida Atlantic with the kind of size-and-experience package coaches love in the middle of a defense. His career production has included 33 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles, and reports have noted a neck injury that limited part of his 2009 season. The big appeal: he brings veteran toughness, interior leverage, and flash-play ability that can help clean up the run game and collapse pockets without needing to be the headline grabber.
