Marcus Singletary brings walk-on grit and DB versatility to Minnesota
Marcus Singletary is a Minnesota defensive back whose value profile leans on toughness, versatility, and a walk-on backstory that suggests real competitive edge; University of Minnesota records list him as a Gophers walk-on, and outside profiles describe him as a D-I walk-on/letterman and coach with DB skill emphasis. He does not appear to be a high-profile stat leader, so the appeal is in fit: special-teams-friendly effort, coaching-minded football IQ, and the kind of reliability teams love when they need depth, discipline, and no-nonsense physicality.
