John Thorsen gives Eastern Illinois a efficient role-piece forward with size
In the 2025-26 season, John Thorsen has produced modest box-score numbers for Eastern Illinois—2.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game—but his **50.9% shooting** suggests he can finish efficiently when opportunities come his way.[1][2] At **6-foot-7**, he brings forward size that can help stretch lineups and give a team a low-usage, dependable connector rather than a high-volume scorer.[3] If you want a ready-made depth piece who plays within structure and doesn’t need the ball to be useful, he’s worth a look.[1][3]
