Makiyah Williams brings efficient two-way wing production and veteran scoring punch to UIC
In the 2024-25 season, Makiyah Williams was a steady engine for UIC, appearing in all 34 games with three starts and leading the Flames in scoring at 11.0 points per game while adding 3.4 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. She’s a 6-foot guard/forward with real versatility, a strong free-throw stroke (84.5%), and enough length to impact both ends. UIC’s own staff called her a “strong, versatile forward that impacts the game on both ends,” and that fits: she’s a tough, multi-positional fit who gives a team reliable shot-making and switchable defense.
