Savvy Slot WR with Proven Hands and Return Prowess
Carnell Boyd, a 6-0, 185-pound wide receiver, stands out for his football savvy, reliable hands, and explosive return ability—averaging 16.8 yards on 12 kickoff returns in 2012 at Alabama State—making him a differentiator in gadget roles despite modest straight-line speed (4.62 40-yard dash).[1][2][3][5][8] His high school production (79 catches, 1,500+ yards) and MVP honors highlight route-running smarts and toughness, ideal for teams needing a sure-handed, intense slot option over elite burners. No notable injury history; a smart fit for creative offenses.
