Michael Ofoegbu brings size and rim protection to San Jose State
Ofoegbu is a 6-foot-6 forward whose value comes from interior efficiency, rebounding, and shot-blocking rather than high-volume scoring; at Santa Clara in 2024-25 he averaged 6.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, shot 71.9% from the field, and blocked 32 shots in 33 games. His profile suggests a low-mistake, energy big who can finish around the rim and defend physically, making him a useful fit for a team that wants hustle, length, and paint presence more than a usage-heavy wing.
