Logan Pili brings power, production, and downhill edge to Utah Tech’s linebacker room
Logan Pili profiles as a physical inside linebacker who already has proven FBS production: in 2023 at Utah State, he played in 12 games with two starts and posted 31 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack, with a season-best eight tackles and 2.0 TFLs at San Diego State. Utah Tech lists him as a 6-foot, 235-pound transfer from BYU/Utah State, and his own comments emphasize run-stopping as his calling card. For a defense that wants a downhill, contact-first LB who can fit the run and create backfield disruption, he looks like a solid fit.
