Max Reimers is a power-armed freshman reliever with weekend-starter upside
In the 2026 season, Santa Clara freshman right-hander Max Reimers has already flashed impact relief value, including a three-strikeout outing in 1 2/3 scoreless innings against San Jose State, while his pre-college profile pointed to a fastball in the low 90s, a late-breaking slider, and a splitter that could miss bats. He’s the kind of pitcher who fits a staff that wants strike-throwing, stuff, and upside in one package: polished, competitive, and built with more than just raw arm strength. Not every freshman arrives with that blend, and that’s the fun part.
