veteran Akron DB with ball skills and versatility
Corvin Amos brings a veteran defensive-back profile to Akron, with proven ball production in his college career and the kind of experience coaches usually trust in coverage-heavy roles. In the 2002 season, he recorded 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery touchdown for Akron, which hints at genuine playmaking instincts rather than just steady tackling. The big differentiator here is versatility: he contributed as a DB and was athletic enough to cross over to track, suggesting useful burst and competitive range. If you want an experienced, instinctive defender who can create momentum-shifting plays, he’s worth a look.
