Proven tackling machine and veteran linebacker leader for Ball State
Ben Ingle has been a high-volume, high-trust linebacker for Ball State, capped by a 2023 season in which he started 11 games, led the team with 102 tackles, and ranked ninth in the MAC at 8.5 tackles per game.[3] He brings leadership and a throwback intensity—Ball State and NCAA coverage noted his captaincy, all-conference recognition, and leadership profile—which matters if you want a dependable middle-of-the-defense tone-setter rather than a stat-padding specialist.[5][9]
