Cody Peregoy brings veteran size and edge-setting potential to VMI’s defensive front
Cody Peregoy is a long, experienced VMI defensive lineman listed at 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, which gives him the kind of frame that can bother tackles and help collapse running lanes. Publicly available roster data shows his VMI career dates back to at least the 2015-16 season and he was still listed on the 2018-19 roster, signaling real program continuity and staying power. The biggest selling point is his length, toughness, and value as a trench player; the stat sheet is thin, but the profile screams rotational defender or depth piece for a team that wants size, discipline, and effort up front.
