Alexandre Sazonov brings size, rim protection, and a high-floor defensive presence for Saint Joseph’s
Sazonov is the kind of **true center** who can change possessions with his length and shot-blocking, but his value has been shaped by health: Saint Joseph’s has previously noted that foot stress reactions and prior surgery limited his production and made his availability a game-time call, while ESPN’s 2025-26 game log tracks his current season role. He’s a useful fit for teams needing interior size, paint protection, and a low-ego big who can anchor the defense more than dominate the ball, but durability remains the key question.
