Marina Egbert gives Georgetown a veteran, clutch arm in the circle
In the 2026 season, Georgetown graduate student Marina Egbert has been a high-leverage pitcher who can start, finish, and even save games, leading the BIG EAST in saves with six while earning conference Pitcher of the Week honors after a 0.00-ERA week. She’s not just a stat line: Egbert has shown toughness in pressure spots, including a complete-game shutout and multiple scoreless outings, and her senior-year polish makes her a steady fit for teams that value versatility, composure, and competitive fire.
