UIC’s defense-first guard with a scorer’s punch
Briana Hinkle’s UIC profile is built on two things that travel anywhere: pressure defense and reliable shot-making. In the 2010-11 season, she was named to the Horizon League All-Defensive Team after leading the league with 84 steals, a 2.9 steals-per-game pace that screams disruptive, high-motor perimeter defense. Earlier UIC seasons also show she could score in bunches, including a career-high 25-point game and multiple double-figure outings, making her more than just a pest on the ball—she’s a two-way guard who fits a team that values toughness, pace, and backcourt edge.
